Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree and master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Rutgers University. I am a certified teacher, and can teach children from kindergarteners through 8th graders. I have been a tutor for more than a decade, and I enjoy assisting students who need some extra help.With one-on-one sessions, my students get all the attention they need to become successful in the subjects they are struggling with. I am willing to work with students in their own homes so they can be in an atmosphere that is comfortable for them. I base my teaching style on each student's abilities. If a student is not retaining the information, I will tailor my techniques so he or she can remember what they are learning. I use a variety of activities and methods to keep my students engaged. I offer tutoring in Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra. I can also assist students with English, Reading, Phonics, and preparation for the ISEE and SSAT.In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy traveling and nature walks.
