Experience
I am a graduate from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Behavioral Biology. I was also a student in the Pre-Health Post-Bacclulaureate Specialized Studies Program at the University of Pennsylvania. At present, I am studying to obtain my Masters of Biomedical Science from Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Newark. I have strong tutoring experience working with elementary and middle school students in all subjects, with most success in Mathematics. I am also very comfortable working with high school and undergraduate students who seek tutoring in Mathematics and Sciences, my two specialties. Specifically, I can provide guidance in Arithmetic, Elementary Math, Geometry, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Trigonometry, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, Physiology, SAT Math, SSAT and GRE Analytical Writing. My favorite subjects to teach are Biology and Physiology because I love to study medicine; I hope to be in medical school in the near future. My main teaching philosophy is to “work smart.” Every student has different needs, and it is important to devise a study plan that is most relevant and tailored specifically to you.
